Terms and Conditions of Delivery

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Delivery apply solely to products sold through the Piippo Hydraulic online store at www.piippohydraulic.com. They do not apply to other TMK Machinery products sold outside the online store, even though Piippo Hydraulic and TMK Machinery Ltd are part of the same company.

2. General

The products available in the online store are sold by TMK Machinery Ltd (Company Registration No: 2588486-9). We sell products to business customers in Finland and internationally. Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added at checkout where applicable. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions of Delivery and our prices without prior notice.

3. Ordering

Orders placed through the online store are submitted via the internet at www.piippohydraulic.com using the shopping cart. An order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided by the customer. The order becomes binding on both parties once we have sent the order confirmation.

Receipt of the order confirmation requires the customer to provide a valid email address owned by the customer when placing the order.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to the Terms and Conditions of Delivery in force at the time of the order. Orders cannot be modified after submission. Please review your order carefully before proceeding to payment. In the event of any issues, please contact TMK Machinery.

4. Pricing and Currency

All prices in the online store are displayed in euros (EUR). We do not offer pricing in any other currency. Customers ordering from outside the eurozone are responsible for any currency conversion charges applied by their own bank or payment provider.

5. Payment Methods

Finland: Payment methods provided by Mollie B.V. (Company Registration No. 30204462). Registered customers may also be invoiced in accordance with a separate agreement.

International: Payment methods provided by Mollie B.V. (Company Registration No. 30204462).

Payment Service Provider

Payment services are provided by Mollie B.V. (Company Registration No. 30204462), registered with the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce and supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank (Licence F0308). Mollie acts as the payment intermediary for transactions within Finland and internationally.

Available payment methods include card payments for both domestic and international orders, and invoicing for customers in Finland.

6. Delivery

Finland: Orders are delivered by Posti. Orders exceeding EUR 200 are shipped free of charge within mainland Finland with standard delivery. Free delivery is not included with Expedited delivery.

International: Orders are delivered by Posti. Shipping charges vary by destination country.

Delivery Time

Orders placed through the online store are normally dispatched within 1–2 business days.

7. Product Information and Compatibility

Technical specifications are approximate and shall not be considered binding. Product specifications and materials may be changed without prior notice as a result of product development or manufacturing improvements. Images shown are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the standard product supplied.

It is the customer's sole responsibility to verify that a product is compatible with the intended machine, equipment, or application before ordering and prior to installation. TMK Machinery does not guarantee fitment or compatibility beyond the technical information stated on the product page and shall not be liable for any costs, damages, or losses arising from incompatible or incorrectly selected products.

8. Warranty

9. Returns and Complaints

Returns

A return request must be submitted in writing to sales@piippohydraulic.com within seven (7) days of receiving the product. Returns submitted after this period will not be accepted.

The following conditions apply to accepted returns:

  • A non-refundable return and handling fee of EUR 100 will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Returned products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

If you wish to return an order or part of an order, you must first contact the Seller at sales@piippohydraulic.com, where you will receive detailed return instructions.

If the product was defective upon delivery, the Seller will bear the return shipping costs. In all other cases, the right of return is subject to the product being in perfect resale condition, including its original packaging, in which case the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Used products are not eligible for return. In addition, made-to-order products and products customized for the customer are not eligible for return.

The customer is also responsible for carefully packaging the products for return shipment.

For partial returns, the final refund amount will be calculated based on the prices of the products remaining in the order.

The purchase price and any reimbursable return shipping costs will be refunded within 14 days after the Seller has received the returned product and confirmed that it meets the return conditions.

Complaints

Complaints concerning defective, damaged, or incorrectly delivered products must be submitted in writing to sales@piippohydraulic.com.

A complaint must always include:

  • The customer's details and order number.

  • The details of the product(s) concerned.

  • A description of the identified issue.

  • Any supporting documentation, such as photographs of the damage.

The processing of complaints is carried out in accordance with the procedures of our suppliers and the shipping carrier.

If a product has been damaged during transport, a transport damage claim must be submitted to the carrier. The customer may be required to retain the damaged product until the carrier has made its decision regarding the claim.

Damaged goods must be stored at the delivery address in a manner that prevents any additional damage. If the carrier wishes to inspect the product before making its decision, the product must be made available for collection or inspection, and the customer must cooperate to facilitate this.

If it is determined that the product is no longer at the delivery address or has been stored in a manner that may have caused additional damage, the carrier may reject the compensation claim. In such cases, we may be required to charge the customer the full price of a replacement product.

We always aim to respond to complaints as quickly as possible.

10. Export and International Orders

Customers ordering from outside Finland are responsible for verifying any import restrictions, licensing requirements, customs regulations, or other legal restrictions that may apply to the products in their country. TMK Machinery does not warrant that products may be lawfully imported or used in any specific country and shall not be liable for any costs, delays, penalties, or other problems arising from ordering products for delivery abroad.

11. Force Majeure

We reserve the right to delay delivery if a force majeure event affects us, the manufacturer of the product, or any other party within the supply chain. Force majeure events include, but are not limited to, strikes, boycotts, export or import restrictions, war, epidemics, fire, floods, and any other similar events beyond the reasonable control of the affected party.

12. Limitation of Liability

TMK Machinery shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the products or an order, including but not limited to loss of revenue or profit, equipment or software failures or malfunctions, or any other commercial or financial losses resulting from delayed delivery, the use of a product, or the inability to use a product.

TMK Machinery shall not be liable for defects in a product if the customer has modified the product.

TMK Machinery's total liability for any claim or damage shall be limited to the purchase price of the product or 500€/order depending on which amount is smaller.

13. Data Protection

The processing of personal data in connection with the online store is described separately in our [Privacy Policy].

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland and applicable European Union law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions or an order shall be settled in the competent courts of Finland.

15. Other Terms

The online store may contain errors relating to product descriptions, pricing, or availability. TMK Machinery shall not be obligated to supply products based on typographical, calculation, or programming errors contained on the website.
